Esteban Gonzalez Mejias

Southbridge...Esteban Gonzalez Mejias, 77 died January 11, 2022, at UMass Memorial Health/Harrington after an illness.  He leaves his longtime partner Alida Rosario with whom he lived.  
He is survived by 4 sons Esteban Gonzalez, Jr. and his partner Marina Rivera of Southbridge, Armando Gonzalez and his companion Maribel Ortiz of Southbridge, Guillermo Gonzalez of Puerto Rico, Rolando Gonzalez and his wife Jasmine of Southbridge, and a daughter Mildred and her husband Ramon Rodriguez of Southbridge. He also leaves 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was born in Manati, Puerto Rico, April 19, 1944, son of Gregorio and Gloria Mejias Gonzalez, and has lived here for many years.  He was a member of Saint Mary's Church (St. John Paul II Parish) and was a retired auto mechanic.

The funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 1PM at Saint Mary's Church 263 Hamilton Street, Southbridge.  Please meet directly at the church, and masks are required.  Burial will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
