Esperanza Santos

Southbridge..Esperanza Santos, 77 a longtime resident of Southbridge, died November 27, 2024, after an illness. 

She is survived by her sons: Angel Maisonet of Southbridge, and Hector Rodriguez of Florida, and 9 grandchildren: Angel Maisonet,3rd; Kiana Maisonet, Aubrey Maisonet, Gianna Maisonet, Caleb Rodriguez, Hector Rodriguez, 2nd; Dominic Rodriguez, Bryson Rodriguez, and Jaxson Rodriguez. Her former husband was the late Jose Cruz who died in 2015.

She was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, daughter of Jesus Santos and Maria Rodriguez, and has lived her for over 40 years.

Esperanza was a former employee of the American Optical Company, where she worked for many years. She was a proud member of the Pentecostal Faith. She loved her family and friends, and was always ready to care for family and friends.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 10-11:15am at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge.  Burial will follow at OakRidge Cemetery, Oak Ridge Ave. Southbridge.
