Southbridge - Elaine V. (Boyle) Trudeau, 91, died at her home August 12, 2017, surrounded by her family, following an illness.
Elaine's husband of 49 years, Antoine "Tony" Trudeau, died October 18, 2016. She is survived by her four children, Henry F. Neeser, Jr., and his fiancée, Linda Grenier, of Webster; Guy Trudeau, of Southbridge; David Trudeau, and his wife, Carol, of Southbridge; and Joanne, wife of Larry Marshall, of Southbridge; 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, and step-sister Lucille Champagne of Southbridge. Elaine was predeceased by her daughter, Kim Evans, who died May 15, 2017, her brother William Boyle, her sisters Harriet Proulx, Florence Mercure, and June Patten, and her step-siblings, Corade Mercure, Normand Mercure, Gerard Mercure, Raymond Mercure, and Lorraine Talisman.
Elaine was born in Southbridge, MA, January 28, 1926, daughter of the late William and Lillian (Lavoie) Boyle. She graduated from St. Mary's High School. She worked in food service for many years. Elaine enjoyed playing cribbage and bowling.
Her funeral will be Thursday, August 24, 2017, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Mary's Church, 263 Hamilton Street, Southbridge, MA. PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH. Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Charlton Street, Southbridge, MA. There are no calling hours.
