Efrain Rodriguez

Southbridge - Efrain Rodriguez, 82, died peacefully after an illness on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at UMass Memorial Health Harrington in Southbridge.

Efrain was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on April 4, 1942, and has lived in Southbridge most of his life.  Efrain was predeceased by his beloved wife Carmen "Mapi" (Dueno) Rodriguez in 2002.  He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, with whom he lived, Elizabeth Rodriguez and her husband, Abner Gutierrez, of Southbridge; and by three sons: Jose Colon and his wife, Rhonda, of FL; Efrain "Gito" Rodriguez and his wife, Kathy, of Southbridge; and Brooklyn Rodriguez of Worcester.  He also leaves several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

Efrain was loved by many.  He had so many amazing characteristics, and he loved fishing with his family.  

The family will be holding private ceremony.  There are no calling hours.  Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA is entrusted with Efrain's private funeral services.
