Edward "Ned" Paradis Obituary

Southbridge - Edward "Ned" J. Paradis, Jr., 63, son of Edward J. and Celeste (LeBlanc) Paradis, Sr., passed peacefully at his home on June 14, 2020, after a long illness.

Ned was predeceased by his parents. He leaves his daughter, Melissa Paradis; his son, Jeremy Paradis, four granddaughters; his former wife, Susan (Forcier) Paradis; his sister, Joyce LaFortune; and two nephews, Lance and Craig LaFortune, and their children.

Ned was a lifelong resident of Southbridge. He graduated from Bay Path Regional High School in 1975. He held several sales and investments positions throughout his career. Ned was well known for his gregarious and jovial nature, and was happiest when he was making people laugh.

Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA, is handling arrangements. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at a time to be determined. Donations in Ned's memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168
