She enjoyed maintaining her garden, where she grew a wide variety of flowers, fruits, and vegetables. She loved listening and dancing to all genres of music, whether in her bathroom getting ready or dancing with strangers in the park. Chan was a tremendous mother and wife. She never missed a school event or a soccer game, no matter how many or how far. Her outgoing personality made her known as ‘Mama Chan’ to most.
