Doris Mae (Bodreau) Julian

Charlton - Our beloved mother, Doris Mae (Bodreau) Julian, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton, MA.

Born in Webster, MA, on New Year's Day, Doris was the daughter of the late Alexander and Irene (Neulieb) Bodreau.  She was a 1967 graduate of Tourtellotte Memorial High School, Thompson, CT.  Doris worked for many years at the Southbridge Fair, later becoming a policy assigner for the former Commerce Insurance Company, and stayed on with MAPFRE until her retirement.

She is survived by her three children: Lori Julian of North Grosvenordale, CT, Ellen Julian of Webster, MA, and Paul Julian and his wife, Jessica, of Holland, MA; 4 grandchildren: Jesse Julian, Kylie (Packard) Cove and her husband, Ryan, Nick Packard and his wife, Harlie, and Lydia Julian; and 2 great-granddaughters: Brenna Packard and Harper Cove.  Doris is predeceased by her granddaughter Shauna Julian, who died in 2016, her brother Bruce Bodreau, who died in 2018, and her loving cat, Georgie.

Doris lived a life defined by deep loyalty, strong opinions, and an appreciation for the joys that mattered most.  While time may have softened some things and hardened others, she remained immensely proud of her loved ones.  Whether by car, camper, or motorcycle, Doris would travel anywhere - especially to the beach - as long as it meant time with those she loved.  She lived to make people laugh with her crazy dancing and singing (even though it killed our ears), her tacky attire (never knew what she would show up in), and her over-the-top holiday decorating; it was all part of her fun sense of humor.  All of which will be deeply missed.

Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA, is entrusted with Doris' care.  Following the family's request, there will be no funeral services.  We appreciate your support and prayers during this time.
