Charlton/Southbridge...It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Goudreau on July 20, 2021 at the age of 91 in Overlook Masonic Home, Charlton MA. A former long time resident of Southbridge MA, Doris was the daughter of the late Alfred Goudreau and Lena Mandeville. Doris attended St. Joan of Arc School, was a member of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, now St. John Paul II Parish. Doris was retired from American Optical company where she worked for 44 years. A woman of great faith, Doris was especially generous with her family, her church, and charities.Doris is survived by her brother Alfred Goudreau of Hobe Sound Fl. and her sister-in-law Patricia Goudreau of Margate Fl. and her sister Anita Boiteau & husband Nelson of Parrish Fl. and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister-in-laws Gloria Goudreau and Carol Goudreau, and her brothers Robert Goudreau and Roger Goudreau.In lieu of flowers contributions in Doris memory may be made to St. John Paul II Parish, 279 Hamilton Street, Southbridge, MA 01550.The funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame Church 446 Main Street, Southbridge MA, on August 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM. A calling hour from 9:00 AM to 10:30AM, prior to the mass at Sansoucy Funeral Home 40 Marcy St. Southbridge MA 01550.
