Donald E. Burrows

Holland - Donald E. Burrows, 80, died Sunday, April 17, 2022 at the UMass Memorial Health Care in Worcester, MA.
 

Born in Quincy, MA, on February 11, 1942, he was the son of the late Frank and Dorothy (Bassett) Burrows.  Donald was a veteran of the US Air Force.  He obtained an Associate in Science Degree from Quincy Junior College in 1985, a Bachelor of Science from the University of MA in 1988, and a Master of Science in Training and Development in 1991 from Lesley College.  Donald retired from SAIC as a Training & Development Programs Manager.  Donald was a 32nd Degree Mason.  He was also a Shriner.
 

Donald is survived by his wife Barbara R. (McLaughlin) Burrows whom he married on October 30,1987. He is also survived by a stepson, Armand (Ted) Rheaume, his family, and his companion Anna Mach; and a stepdaughter, Becky Rheaume Savoie and her companion Ricky Leo, and Don Don Southbridge and Charlton.  He also has 3 stepchildren from a former marriage, Billy Abraham and Vanessa and family, of Nashua, NH; Sherry and Chris Drescher; and Jeff and Kristin Abraham and family. Other survivors include 2 cousins that were brought up with him: Bobbie Gaspar & Gary Gaspar and family of Mattapoisett MA, and Peggy and Ken Rose and family Canton, CT, as well as other cousins and families, five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
 

Calling hours will be Monday, April 25, 2022 from 5-6:30PM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA.  A prayer service will immediately follow at 6:30PM.  www.sansoucyfuneral.com
