Domingo Jose Gonzalez, Jr

Domingo Jose Gonzalez, Jr., 49, of Southbridge, MA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 21, 2022, at UMass Memorial Medical Center/University Campus.

He is survived by his children Joseph M. Gonzalez and his wife Jessica of Kyle, Texas, Jacob Gonzalez of Manor, Texas, Diana Gonzalez and her husband Ariel De La Cruz of Round Rock, Texas and Domingo J. Gonzalez III, of Laporte, Indiana, and 9 grandchildren, Zaine, Alexander, Oliver, Bellami, Avah, Milani, Ariana, Juliette, and Josiah.

He is also survived by his 5 sisters, Mary Jane Rios and her husband Albert of San Antonio, TX, Lupe Trevino and her husband John of Dale, TX, Cynthia Clark and her husband Shawn of Southbridge, MA, Kathy O'Balle and her husband Robert of Lockhart, TX, and Sandra Gomez and her husband Edward of Kyle, TX. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Heather Briscoe of Manor, TX and Tami Gonzalez of Laporte, Indiana.  

He was predeceased by his mother, Frances Gonzalez (2018), his father Domingo Gonzalez Sr. (2010), brother Arnold Gonzalez (2017) and his sister Diana Rodriguez (1995). 

Domingo was born in San Antonio, Texas and lived in Texas for most of his life before moving to Southbridge 11 years ago. Domingo “Dom” was a forklift driver for Dana Transportation. He enjoyed working on cars and participated in many local car shows. He was also well known for playing pool in several local pool leagues. Domingo was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. His infectious smile could light up any room and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him
