Southbridge - Dolores "Dolly" A. (Mongeon) Maynard, 76, died peacefully at her home on Monday, March 30, 2021.
She is survived by 4 daughters, Karen Messier and her husband, Joseph, of Sandwich, MA; Sharon Maynard of Holyoke, MA; Linda Augustine of Sturbridge, MA; and Lisa Santucci (Dolly's favorite) of Brimfield, MA; 4 grandchildren, Eric Maynard of Warren, MA; Alexander Augustine of Quinebaug, CT; Benjamin Augustine of Charlton, and Lauren Augustine of Sturbridge; her great-grandson, Jaxon Maynard, of Warren, MA; her brothers, Lawrence Mongeon and his wife, Pauline, of Brimfield, MA; John Mongeon of Dudley, MA; Eugene Mongeon and his wife, Cheryl, of Charlton, MA, and Richard Mongeon and his wife, Diane, of Webster, MA; and her longtime companion of over 30 years, Edward Perreault. Dolly was predeceased by her brothers, Adelard Mongeon and Leo Mongeon, and her sister Doris Freehart.

Born in Charlton, MA on June 1, 1944, Dolly was the daughter of the late Adelard and Isabella (Farrher) Mongeon. She graduated from the former Charlton High School. She worked for 15 years at the Charlton Woolen Mill, 12 years at the United Lens, 13 years at Masonic Home, and 10 years as a hostess at the Sturbridge Host Hotel and Conference Center.
