Dolores A (Burlingame) Wetherbee

Dudley...Dolores Wetherbee , 77 years of age, of 4 Tracy RD, Dudley MA passed away peacefully in her sleep on, Sunday,  February 2, 2020 at home after an illness.

Dolores was the wife of the late Robert Wetherbee of NY.  Dolores was one of 9 children of her late parents, Donald Burlingame Sr. and Arlene Sherman – Burlingame of Charlton. Dolores is survived by her four children, Gary Wood of Charlton; Vincent Wood and Bethanne Berube both of Dudley and Raymond Miller Jr. of NY;  three sisters: Joan Cobb and Marjorie Sanford of FL and Amy Catron of Charlton. and two brothers: Douglas Burlingame of CT and Earl Burlingame of NY. 

Dolores is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Dolores’ brothers, Donald Burlingame Jr., Kenneth Burlingame, and sister Dolly Burlingame predeceased her.

Dolores was a homemaker who loved raising, riding, and showing horses and in 1972 one of her show horses was the New England Grand Champion, an accomplishment she took pride in. Dolores most recently enjoyed raising and breeding Boston Terriers.

A Memorial Service will be held at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street in Southbridge, MA 01550, at 6 PM on Sunday, February 9, 2020.
