Stafford Springs, CT ~ Devin M. Hazen, 21, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Umass Memorial Health Harrington Hospital in Southbridge, MA, following an accident.
Devin is survived by his mother and step-father, Melissa D. (Carter) and Michael St. Clair of Stafford Springs, CT; his father, Eric M. Hazen and his girlfriend, Elaina Kindell, of Southbridge, MA; his brother, Dominic J. St. Clair of Stafford Springs, CT; his sisters, Ashley N. Hazen and her husband, James Fontaine, of Brookfield, MA, and Tori E Hazen of Sturbridge, MA; 3 nieces; his maternal grandparents, Linda and Charles Muller of Monson, MA; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Ellen St. Clair of Brimfield, MA; his paternal grandmother, Robin Roberts of Fiskdale, MA; his aunts, Shelly Dumont and her husband, Will, of Moosup, CT, and Becky Pelletier and her husband, Matthew, of Monson, MA; his uncles, Stuart Hazen of Sturbridge, MA, and Craig Bren of Gloucester, MA; 6 cousins; and his girlfriend Hailee Sterndale of Sturbridge.
Devin was born in Southbridge, MA on January 24, 2000. He graduated with the class of 2018 from Tantasqua Regional High School. He was employed as a manager at the Pilot Truck Stop in Sturbridge, MA. Devin was an avid soccer fan, and enjoyed playing the game when he was a young boy. He was a naturally gifted, and self-taught guitar player, since the age of 8 when he received his first guitar.
Calling hours for Devin will be Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 1-3:45PM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA, with a prayer service at 3:45PM. Burial will be private.
