David V Thibault

Sturbridge...David V. Thibault, 49, died at home Monday, December 23rd, after a long illness.  

He is survived by his pride and joy, daughter Haley Thibault of Fall River, whom he loved more than anything. He leaves a brother, Scott Thibault and his wife Kim of Fairhaven; sister Jeri Smith of Plainville, and sister Vicki Bradley of Hopkinton, who was his biggest fan and best friend. He was the favorite uncle to his niece and nephews, and he will be greatly missed by the love of his life, Sara Garceau, with whom he lived and shared many happy adventures.

David was born March 30, 1975, in Somerset, son of Alice (Hathaway) Thibault, and Gerard and Ruth (Ameil) Thibault. He spent many years in Florida enjoying the beaches and fishing before relocating back to Massachusetts. 

David was a former deep-sea fisherman and tour guide.  He was happiest when on a boat, spending time with his favorite people, and with his loyal dog, "Astro",  who was always by his side. 

For those who knew and loved David, the world won't be the same without him. 

Funeral services will be private. Sansoucy Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
