David G Proulx

Southbridge...David G. Proulx, 63, died Monday, January 2, 2023, at UMass Memorial/Harrington after an illness.  He leaves his wife Nequetta Lynne (Leaming) Proulx.

He also is survived by his son Michael D. Proulx of Southbridge and his daughter Kimberly Proulx of Southbridge, and his sister Debra Rosario and her husband Jose of Southbridge.

He was born in Southbridge, May 15, 1959, son of the late George W. and Irene L. (Rydensky) Proulx and was a lifelong resident.  He graduated from Southbridge High School, Class of 1977. He was a chemical compounder and safety manager , retiring due to illness.  

David was affectionately known as "Pooh-Bear."  He was a drummer and played in many bands. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh, he loved animals and most of all loved his family. 

Funeral services will be private.
