Southbridge – Daniel (Danny) Hebert, 65, died suddenly at home .
He was born in Southbridge on March 20th, 1957, the son of the late Donald and Rose (Fitzgibbons) Hebert. He is survived by his brother, Donald S. Hebert of Charlton; and his sister, Kathy Lafleche and her husband Andy of Southbridge. He also leaves behind his nieces, MaryBeth and Marie as well as his nephews Michael, Ryan and Adam.
Danny retired from Cranston Printworks in Webster, MA when the manufacturing plant closed, and had previously worked at Charlton Woolen Co. He had many friends at those work locations that he enjoyed working and socializing with. Danny also leaves behind his close group of friends known as “the Charlton boys”, a group of 6 friends that have been together since the first grade.
Danny enjoyed fishing and sports, and was a junior archery champion at the age of 16. Danny was an avid player and coach in baseball and softball in the Southbridge Softball Association for years. He enjoyed snowmobiling and card games as well as listening to the morning talk radio shows. Danny had a love of animals especially Georgie and Toby, and also, Darby, an English Bull Dog that he watched for good friends.
Danny had a huge heart and an infectious smile and will be missed by all that knew him.
