Daniel P Fiorelli

Southbridge...Daniel P. Fiorelli, 92, a lifelong resident of Southbridge, died September 1, 2020, at Harrington Memorial Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 64 years Anita (Metras) Fiorelli.  They were married July 13, 1956. 
He leaves his son Paul Fiorelli of Charlton, and 2 daughters Lisa Fiorelli and Nina Fiorelli both of Southbridge, a granddaughter Jessica and a step-granddaughter Sarah, 2 great-grandchildren, and 4 step great-grandchildren. He also leaves 5 nephews: John and Daniel Denigris, Earl and John Burgess, and Steve Fiorelli.  He was predeceased by his brother Bernard Fiorelli, and 2 sisters Sylvia Denigris and Sophia Burgess.

Dan was born in Southbridge, June 5, 1928, son of Joseph and Rose (DeSantis) Fiorelli and lived here all his life.  
Dan was a graduate of the former Cole Trade High School and served as a proud veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of St. Mary's Church (St. John Paul II Parish). He was a retired Bail Commissioner, and a former security guard at Harrington Memorial Hospital. He enjoyed carpentry and going to McDonald's with his friends for coffee and Dunkin Donuts as well. 

The funeral Mass will be held at 11AM on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Charlton Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. There are no calling hours. Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge is directing the arrangements.
