Southbridge...Constance D. (McDonald) Wagner, died Saturday, September 7, 2024, following a long illness. She leaves her husband of 34 years, Herbert S. Wagner. They were married August 18, 1990.
She also leaves her son Daniel Beaudette of Webster, and her daughters Maria James of Worcester, Norma Dufresne of Southbridge, and Christine Jimenez of Novato, CA, and 7 grandchildren: Jessica Rousseau, Jamal Beaudette, Jonathan Szlyk, Miles Nozzolillo, Dallas Nozzolillo, Todd Nelson, Jazmin James, and 14 great-grandchildren. She also leaves 3 brothers, George McDonald of Sturbridge, Richard McDonald of Charlton, and Roger McDonald of Sturbridge, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers; Norman, Lucien, Robert, Roland and Raymond, and her 3 sisters, Jeannette Gelineau, Lucille McDonald, and Noella Faraday.
Connie was born March 7, 1942, daughter of Wilfrid and Annette (Bousquet) McDonald and lived many years in Webster before relocating back to Southbridge. She worked in daycare for many years at the Masonic Home before retiring. She enjoyed crocheting, dancing, music, canning, baking, and playing Scrabble, and Yahtzee.
A graveside service at 11AM will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at New Notre Dame Cemetery, 746 N. Woodstock Road, Southbridge, MA 01550. Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge is assisting the family.
