Southbridge...Clyde R. Gagnon, 70, died at home Tuesday, March 14, after a long illness. He leaves his wife of nearly 50 years, Renita R. (Paul) Gagnon. They were married September 15, 1973.
He leaves a daughter Kris Gagnon of Southbridge, and loved his "grand-cats Sparky and Remix. His other two grand-cats Spunky and Spanky predeceased him.
Clyde was born in Southbridge, November 21, 1952, son of the late Robert D. and Bertha (Milczewski) Gagnon. He was a graduate of the former Cole Trade High School, Class of 1970. He studied in the electrical department, and went on to work for over 50 years at Old Sturbridge Village as an electrician. He also was the Town of Sturbridge Electrical Inspector for over 30 years.
He enjoyed going to the casino (playing the slot machines), playing Bingo, and his annual visits to Niagara Falls.
The funeral will be held on Monday, March 20, from Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, with a funeral home prayer service at 10AM. Visitation will be from 9:30-10AM. Burial will follow at St. Hedwig's Cemetery, N. Woodstock Road, Southbridge, MA 01550
