Claudette A. (Desaulniers) Blanchard

Southbridge ~ Claudette A. (Desaulniers) Blanchard, 81, died Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Lanessa Extended Care, Webster, MA.

Claudette's husband of 45 years, Robert A. Blanchard, died December 20, 2005.  She is survived by her son, Steven Blanchard of Charlton; her daughter, Michele Cloutier of Charlton; 5 grandchildren: Justin Cloutier, Samantha Blanchard-Kaitbenski, Nathan Cloutier, Amanda Cloutier, and Katie Blanchard; and 9 great-grandchildren.  Her son, Michael Blanchard, died August 11, 2015.  She is also predeceased by her brothers Edward, Eugene, Roger and George Desaulniers.
Born in Southbridge on November 10, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon J. and Corinne (Desautels) Desaulniers.  Claudette worked as a CNA and activity aide at the former Providence House Nursing Home.  She enjoyed reading, and she loved cats. 

Her funeral will be Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, 263 Hamilton Street, Southbridge, MA.  PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH.  Burial will be held privately at a later date.  Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA is handling arrangements.
