Claude E. Suprenant

Fiskdale ~ Claude E. Suprenant, 72, died Friday, February 3, 2023 at his home, following a long illness.

Claude is survived by his wife, Catherine (Jandron) Suprenant, whom he proudly called “the love of his life”. They were married on October 5, 1996.  Claude’s three children were the other loves of his life.  He adored, and was completely devoted to his sons Corey Suprenant of Shrewsbury, and Chad Suprenant of Fiskdale; and to his daughter, Melissa Hoenig and her husband, Philip, of Fiskdale. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Alecia Harrington, Skylar Suprenant, Jackson Hoenig, Max Hoenig, and Morgan Hoenig; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Michael Suprenant and his wife, Lucille, of Fiskdale, and Joel Suprenant and his wife, Rosa, of Fiskdale; 3 sisters: Lisa Remillard and her husband, Bruce, of Fiskdale; Monique Marinelli and her husband, John, of Fiskdale; and Denise Clementino and her husband, Michael, of Andover, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

Born in Southbridge on August 29, 1950, Claude is the son of the late George R. and Pauline B. (Fontaine) Suprenant.  He was a 1969 graduate of Tantasqua High School.  Claude was a US Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.  He was a construction worker for many years with Geo. R. Suprenant Construction Co.  He also previously worked for Two Brothers Leasing in Springfield, and most recently for T.M. Paving in Brimfield.  He was an avid hunter, and he also enjoyed fishing.
