Claire A. (McComb) Cormier

Spencer...Claire A. (McComb) Cormier, 95, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at The Overlook in Charlton.  Her husband was the late Joseph A. Cormier who died in 1996. 

She is survived by her sons John Cormier and his wife Karen of Bedford, NH, William Cormier and his wife Nancy of Holland, and her daughter Susan Cormier and her husband Richard Racine of Cincinnati, Ohio, five grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cormier was born February 1, 1925 in W. Warren, daughter of William and Adele (Boutot) McComb, and has lived in Spencer most of her life. She and her late husband owned and operated Cormier Jeweler's in Spencer for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Charlton, and a former longtime member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Spencer.

The funeral Mass will be held at 10AM, Friday, January 22, 2021 at St. Joseph's Church, 10 H. Putnam Road, ext., Charlton, MA 01507. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Spencer, MA.  Masks will be required at the church.
