Cecile (Robert) Wells

Sturbridge ~ M. Cecile (Robert) Wells, 84, was surrounded by her loving family when she died on Friday, April 7, 2023, at the Blaire House of Worcester.

Cecile is survived by her husband, Charles A. Wells, Jr., whom she married on May 17, 2006.  She is also survived by her 2 sons, Michael Bonadies and his wife, Mary Lou, of Southbridge, and Joseph Bonadies and his wife, Madaline, of Southbridge; her daughter, Laura Cadarette and her husband, Paul, of Southbridge; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her brother Gerard Robert of NC; and her sisters Lorraine Dumais of Keene, NH, and Sister Claire Robert, SASV, of Marlborough, MA.  Cecile is predeceased by her first husband, Giuseppe A. Bonadies who died June 18, 1972, and her second husband, Donald Guardiani who died Oct. 17, 2003, and by her brother Bernard Robert.  

Born in Southbridge on January 17, 1939, Cecile was the daughter of the late Romuald and Bernadette (Plante) Robert.  She was a graduate of the former Notre Dame High School, Class of 1957.  She worked for many years as a secretary for the former American Optical Company, and also for Unum Insurance Company.  She enjoyed trips to the casino, family time, and most of all, Cecile enjoyed her grandchildren.

Cecile's Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 11AM at St. Mary's Church, 263 Hamilton Street, Southbridge.  PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH.  Burial will be private at a later date.  The family requests in lieu of flowers that you kindly consider making a memorial donation in Cecile's name to a charity of your choice.
