Bonnie Jean (Silva) Colon

Southbridge....Bonnie J Colon passed away on June 13th 2020 at 11:46pm mass will be held at 11am at St Mary's church on Hamilton street followed by burial at Oakridge cemetery. Then the family would like to invite you to celebrate Bonnie's life after the proceedings at her sister's house at 53 Fiske st southbridge. 
Bonnie Colon was born on 9/25/1963 in Springfield MA. She is the daughter of the Late Richard Silva and the late Beverly Silva. She was married to Ronnie Colon for 26 glorious years they were married at the Nights of Columbus in Southbridge 
Bonnie worked as a CNA for many years at Lanessa Nursing Home in Webster
.
Bonnie was loved by many either friend or family you need only know Bonnie for a few minutes to become part of her inner circle. She had a laugh that was unmistakable and could bring joy to your soul. She was strong-willed and very outspoken you knew where you stood with her she had a remarkable inner strength. Many people called her auntie that just adopted her as there aunt she loved to feed people and made the world's best Spanish rice. She loved to go to the beach and enjoy the ocean she also loved to play games like Yahtzee with her great nieces and nephews. There was no limit of time she had for the ones she loved you could always count on her.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her daughter Candice Silva
Bonnie is survived by her husband and best friend Ronald Colon her son Jeremy Colon his wife Jourhana Colon her grandson Dominic Card.
She also leaves behind her sisters Marie Hopkins her husband Junius Hopkins her sister Judy Reece and her husband Dennis Reece her sister Robin Millard and her boyfriend Angel Millete her sister Beth Angelini and her husband Bill Angelini her sister Anne Boulos and her husband Tom Boulos her sister Betty-Jo Silva her brother Mike Landers and his wife Aly Landers she also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews. She leaves behind her 2 dearest friends Wanda Ramos and Gail Mageau.
Bonnie's pallbearers: Jeremy Colon, Tom Boulos, Mike Landers, Jerry Diaz, Tony Lopez, Wilfrado Diaz, David Lopez, and Kurtis Clark.

The funeral Mass will be held at 11AM, on Monday, June 22, 2020, at St. Mary's Church, 263 Hamilton Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. Please be mindful that masks are required along with social distancing.
