Southbridge... Barbara T. (Theriault) Peloquin, 94, died at home Friday, January 17, surrounded by her loving family. Her husband was the late Charles E. Peloquin who died January 5, 2021.
She is survived by her son Mark and his wife Diane Noga of Southbridge, and her daughter Deborah S. Morin and her husband Stephan of Brimfield. She also leaves her grandchildren: Matthew and his wife Rose of Wales, Rebekah Morin of Brooklyn, New York, and Kelly Morin of Brimfield, and 3 great-grandchildren Alyssa Noga, Brendan Gendreau, and Hailee Rojas. She was predeceased by her late husbands Alexander J. Noga, and Francis Flanagan, and her sister Beverly Provost
Mrs. Peloquin was born in Fiskdale, daughter of Leo and Irene Theriault, and lived most of her life in Southbridge, and several years in Sturbridge. She was a member of Notre Dame Church (St. John Paul II Parish) and was a graduate of the former Mary E. Wells High School, Class of 1948, where she was the Valedictorian of her class. She worked for 45 years as the Executive Director of the Southbridge United Way. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and was a world traveler.
The funeral Mass will be held on February 4, 2025, at 11AM at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge. A calling hour at he funeral home will be held from 9:30-10:30AM prior to the mass. Burial will be private.
