Arthur "Artie" E. Smith, Jr

Southbridge...Arthur "Artie"  E. Smith, Jr. died after a long illness surrounded by his loving family at St Vincent's Hospital in Worcester on April 9th 2025 

He leaves behind his mother Carol (Girouard) Smith of Florida  his longtime partner Monique Paquin and stepdaughter MaKenna Zella,  2 brothers Eric Smith and  Scott Smith both of Southbridge and 2 sisters Ginger Smith of Southbridge, and Charlotte Smith Curboy of Altoona, FL.  He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his son Jason A. Paquin who died November 3, 2016 

He was born in Southbridge,  son of Carol (Girouard) Smith and the late Arthur E. Smith, Sr. who died in 2022.  He attended Southbridge High School, and was a logger retiring due to illness .

Artie enjoyed playing his guitar, and listening to music. He enjoyed being with family and friends, and will be missed by all who knew him.
