Holland...Arthur Quinn, 91, a longtime resident of Holland. died Monday, August 2, 2021, at UMass Memorial Health/Harrington after an illness. He leaves his wife Merilyn (Greenough) Quinn. His first wife was the late Norma Jean (Sarten) Quinn who died in 2003.
He is survived by 3 sons Arthur A. Quinn of Grafton, Peter A. Quinn and his life partner Lois Arena of Millis, Paul G. Quinn and his wife Pamela of Whitinsville, 3 daughters Patricia A. Robichaud and her husband Daniel of Burlington, MA, Nancy Quinn Bailey of Phoenix, Arizona, Susanne Marie Nicolas and her husband Patrick of Mansfield, MA, and a sister Eileen Budd of Glendale, Arizona, a brother Robert Quinn and his wife Margaret of Mendocino, CA and a son-in-law Louis "Chip" Caruso of Watertown, MA. He also leaves 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Jeanne Marie Caruso (2020), his daughter-in-law Sandi Quinn (2015), his son-in-law Grant A. Bailey (2018), and brother-in-law Robert Budd.
Mr. Quinn served for many years in the US Navy Reserves retiring in 1979. After his high school graduation, he attended Worcester Polytechnical Institute, Hofstra University, and the State University of New York, obtaining a BA in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for many years in the HVAC field as a mechanical engineer. He enjoyed golfing, and spending time with his family.
Funeral Services will be private. Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550 is directing the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Arthur's Memory to your local Food Bank.
