Arlene A. (Jordan) Plouffe

Southbridge...Arlene A. (Jordan) Plouffe, 73, died Sunday, July 1, 2018, at The Overlook in Charlton, with her loving family by her side. She leaves her husband of 34 years, Ronald Plouffe, and 3 sons Kenneth Laliberte and his wife Cathy of Southbridge, Jeremy Plouffe and his wife Janel of Minneola, FL, Jason Plouffe and his wife Jenna of Waitsfield, VT.
She also leaves 6 grandchildren Caitlyn Laliberte and Casey Laliberte of Southbridge, Brayden  and Aubrey Plouffe of Mineola, FL, and Berkley and Elowyn Plouffe of Waitsfield, VT, and a great-grandchild Caleb. She also leaves a sister Dorothy "Dottie" Morris of Webster, nieces and nephews.
Arlene was born in Southbridge daughter of Abram Jordan and Murielle (Goulet) Jordan Hurlbut, and lived here most of her life.   She graduated from Bartlett High School and was a member of St. Hedwig Church in Southbridge. 
Arlene lived in Florida for 20years, and worked at Walt Disney World in all four parks, and worked in the entertainment department as the supervisor for the Disney characters. She previously with her husband owned and operated RP Manufacturing in Southbridge where she was vice president of sales, and also worked in quality control for the American Optical Co., for several years.
She enjoyed gardening, especially took great pride in her rose garden, puzzles making, bowling on the senior bowling league, her trips to the casino, and camping, but most of all, she loved being with family and friends. She also was a member of the Wanderer's Car Club for many years, and for the past several years she enjoyed working the elections primarily in Precinct 3. 
Calling hours will be Thursday, July 5th, from 5-8PM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. The funeral Mass will be held at 10AM Friday, July 6th, at St. Hedwig's Church, Everett Street, Southbridge, MA 01550.  Burial will follow at St. Hedwig Cemetery, N.
