Anita A. (Hebert) Mongeon

Charlton/Holland...Anita A. (Hebert) Mongeon, 88, died Monday, January 25th, at Brookside Rehab & Healthcare Center, after a period of declining health. Her husband was the late Adelard Mongeon Jr., who died in 1995.

She is 7 sons, James and his wife Valerie Mongeon of Philmont, New York, Louis and his wife Cathy Mongeon of Webster, Brian and his wife Nicky Mongeon of Southbridge, Paul Mongeon of Charlton, Roy and his wife Melody Mongeon of Burrillville, RI, Robert and his wife Buffy of Southbridge, David Mongeon of Sturbridge, and 7 daughters  Anne Mongeon of Mesa, Arizona, Diane and her husband Mark Coran of Ravenna, Ohio, Lydia O'Keefe of Warren, MA,  Anita Brousseau and her husband Andrew of Holland, Dolores Mongeon and her partner Mark Espy of Worcester,  Paula and her husband Mark Krukowski of Charlton, and Donna Mongeon of Plymouth, 20 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her sons Michael Mongeon (1953),  Adelard Mongeon, III (2018), a daughter Doris Mongeon (1979) and her sister Theresa Chartier (2020).

Mrs. Mongeon was born in Southbridge, the daughter of Moise and Amanda (Desourdy) Hebert and lived most of her life in Charlton, where she was a member of St. Joseph's Church.
She retired from the Worthington Corrugated Box Factory in 1997.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.
