Andre J. Cormier, Sr

East Brookfield...Andre J. Cormier, Sr., 84, died Tuesday, March 10, 2026, following an illness. He leaves his wife of 63 years, Fay (Corey) Cormier.

He is survived by his son Andre J. Cormier, Jr., and his wife Diane of East Brookfield, Craig Cormier and his wife Dawn of Holland, his daughter, Cathy Engel and her husband Eric of Texas, and 8 grandchildren: Andre Cormier III, Jacob Cormier, Nancy Smith, Craig Cormier, Jr., Julia Atamian, Kayla Smith, Meghan Baxter, Mitzi Engel, and 4 great-grandchildren, Clayton Pollard, Adam Smith, Eli Smith and Lucas Smith. He also leaves his brothers, John Cormier of Tolland, Gregory Cormier, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Dr. Joyce Donahue.

He was born in New York City, son of the late Louis A. Cormier and Helen (Casey) Cormier, and lived many years in Southbridge before moving to E. Brookfield.
Mr. Cormier was the owner of Escape Estates Home Builders of Sturbridge. He was also an active member of the Palmer Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and finding artifacts.
