Wanda V. Ohop

Southbridge...Wanda V. Ohop, 92, died Thursday, November 30, 2017, at The Meadows of Leicester. She is survived by 2 sisters Delia Targonski of Southbridge, and Evelyn Talbot of Southbridge, She also leaves many nieces and nephews, and a special niece, Betty Gregson of Southbridge, her primary caretaker. She is predeceased by 6 brothers Stephen Ohop, Walter Ohop, Edward Ohop, Ralph Ohop, Chester Ohop, and Bernard Ohop, and a sister Isabel Zigadlo.
She was born in Southbridge, daughter of Stephen and Victoria (Weglarz) Ohop, and has lived here most of her life.
She was a longtime member of St. Hedwig's Church. She enjoyed Polka dancing, cooking, but will be remembered for loving family gatherings, and making others laugh.  
A calling hour will be held on Thursday, December 7th, from 9:30-10:30AM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge with the funeral Mass to follow at 11AM at St. Hedwig's Church, Everett Street, Southbridge, MA. Burial will follow at St. Hedwig's Cemetery, N. Woodstock Road, Southbridge, MA 01550.
