Robert G. McCarthy

Fiskdale...Robert G. McCarthy, 62, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at UMass Memorial Medical Center/University Campus.  He leaves his wife of 20 years, Susan (DiLoreto) McCarthy, whom he married on August 8, 1998. He leaves a sister  Brenda McCarthy Trayah and her husband George of Worcester.

He was born in Framingham, son of Robert F. and Margarita (Wall) McCarthy. After his high school graduation, he worked as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars, all sports, and was an avid baseball player.

A calling hour will be held at St. Anne's Church, 16 Church Street, Fiskdale from 9-10AM, Friday, January 25, 2019. The funeral Mass will follow at 10AM. Burial will be held at a later date.

Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA is directing the arrangements.
