Pearl E. (Caouette) Bouchard

Southbridge...Pearl E. (Caouette) Bouchard, 91, of Charlton Street, died Monday, December 10, 2018, at The Overlook in Charlton. Her husband was the late Joseph E. Bouchard who died in 1975.

She is survived by her son Dennis Bouchard and his wife Elaine of Southbridge. Betty Ann Chappell and her husband James of Brooklyn, CT, and Denise Smith of Southbridge. She also leaves six grandchildren Lisa, Jamy, Kristy, Dennis, Taryn, and Tori, and great-grandchildren Sara, Zack, Andrew, Logan, Devin, Abigail, Jacob, Noah, Fatima, Aaliyah, and Jayden, many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers Armand, Ernest, Albert, Raymond, Roland, and her sisters Irene Lavallee, and Sr. Edna Caouette, DHS.

She was born in Waterbury, CT, daughter of Eugene and Leda (Pelletier) Caouette, and lived here for most of her life. She retired in 1989 from the American Optical Company where she worked for over 35 years. She was a member of Notre Dame Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and her pastime was playing Bingo.

The funeral will be Monday, December 17, 2018, from Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550 with a Mass at 10AM at Notre Dame Church 446 Main Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. A calling hour will be held from 8:30-9:30AM at the funeral home prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at New Notre Dame Cemetery, N. Woodstock Road, Southbridge, MA 01550.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
