Paul was a life long resident of Southbridge. He graduated from Cole Trade High School and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. After the service he perused his trade as a machinist for Hyde Manufacturing before his career as a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was dedicated to his Postal Union as Shop Steward for many years.
He was a member of Boy Scouts of America and served as Scout Master for Troop 160 for several years. Paul devoted many years as an assistant Little League coach, assistant Youth Soccer coach and for more 20 years as assistant varsity golf coach at Southbridge High under Peter Frey. Together they developed some of the best golf teams in Southbridge High School history. Paul's passion was golf. He was especially proud of his enshrinement into the Cohasse Country Club "Flight Of Honor". More importantly he treasured the life long friendships he made with fellow members, staff and the young men who passed through the SHS golf program.
Paul shared a special relationship with his fellow proud Marine and life long buddy "Gerry" Durocher, the Durocher family, the Pilott's and the Jalbert's. The "Four Couples" spent many a Saturday night and vacations together.
Paul loved agronomy, metal works, and was a true craftsman who spent countless hours tinkering in his workshops. He will be remembered by everyone who met him as "Pep", a loving name given to him because he loved nothing more in this world than being a grandfather.
