Marie Jeanne Lavallee

Southbridge...M. Jeanne Lavallee, 92, a former longtime resident of Southbridge, died Friday, August 30th at The Overlook in Charlton.
She is survived by her cousins Roger Lavallee and his wife Joanne of Sturbridge, Diane Gagnon of Southbridge, Pauline Servant of Southbridge, and Paul Laliberte and his wife Sandy of Florida.

Jeanne was born in Southbridge, July 21, 1927, and was a member of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, and now of St. John Paul II Parish.  She was retired from the American Optical Company where she worked  for 44 years.  She was especially kind and generous with her church and charities. She loved to do arts and crafts.

The funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 2, 2019 (Labor Day) at 10AM at Saint Mary's Church, 263 Hamilton Street, Southbridge.   Visitation will be from 8:45AM-9:30AM prior to the mass at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550.
Burial will be Thursday, September 5th at 10AM at St. George Cemetery, Paige Hill Road, Southbridge.
