Madeleine G. (Mongeau) Pontbriand

Southbridge...Madeleine G. (Mongeau) Pontbriand, 85, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Southbridge Rehab & Healthcare Center. Her husband was the late Leonard E. Pontbriand who died in 1981. She is survived by her children Ronald Mongeau of Southbridge, Diane Mongeau of Canada, Rachel Mongeau of Canada,  Leonard Pontbriand of North Carolina, Doreen Benoit of Southbridge, and Sally Pontbriand of Vermont, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother George Mongeau, and 3 sisters Rita Mongeau, Theresa Blais, and Jeanette Giroux.
She was born in Southbridge, daughter of Adrien and Clara (Guilbault) Mongeau, and has lived here most of her life. She was a longtime member of Notre Dame Church. 
Calling hours will be Monday, December 4th, from 8:30-9:30AM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, with the funeral Mass to follow at 10AM at Saint Mary's Church, 263 Hamilton Street, Southbridge. Burial will be St. George Cemetery, Paige Hill Road, Southbridge, MA 01550
