Lorraine (Dumas) LaRochelle

Southbridge...Lorraine (Dumas) LaRochelle 95, of Southbridge, has joined her husband Vincent on Monday, February 26, 2018, to be eternally at peace together. She was a longtime resident at the Southbridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for whom we are sincerely grateful to everyone for their care of her.

She is survived by her children, Vince LaRochelle of Oak Ridge, OR;  Ken LaRochelle of Southbridge, and Lou Anne Rapa of South Berwick, Maine, as well as a granddaughter, Samara LaRochelle, and a great-granddaughter Wiley B. Rose both of Port Hadlock, WA. She also leaves a sister Theresa Savory of Brooklyn, NY.

Mrs. LaRochelle was one of three children born to Henry and Lottie (Letendre) Dumas of Sturbridge.

Lorraine was a very kind and caring woman, who always gave of herself.  She excelled in many crafts such as knitting and crocheting, and ceramics to name a few. She also was an avid golfer for many years.  Most of her life centered around her husband and family. Her devotion to them knew no boundaries.  We were so fortunate to have her as a mother.

At Lorraine's request, there are no calling hours, and funeral services will be private. Remembrances in Lorraine's name may be made to the  Brian DiGregorio Scholarship Fund, P. O. Box 530, Sturbridge, MA 01566.
