Oxford - Linda L. (Tower) Loranger, 70, died Friday, July 12, 2019, at the Care One of Millbury, MA.
Born in Worcester, MA on May 14, 1949, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Rose Mary (Dufresne) Tower. Her husband, Donald Loranger, died in 2014. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Nelson of Oxford, MA, and Gina Foster of North Brookfield, MA; 5 grandchildren, Collin, Gage, Brooklyn, Derek, and Kyle; a brother, Johnny Tower of Kansas; 2 sisters, Eleanor Gratton of Brookfield, MA and Janet Ianolli of Cherry Valley, MA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Raymond Tower and Alfred Tower.
Linda was a longtime resident of Pine Acres Camp Ground in Oakham, MA for many years before moving to Oxford. She retired from Dunkin' Donuts where she worked as a customer service manager for many years. She was an avid New England Patriots fan, she loved the Beatles, and yellow was her favorite color. She enjoyed being on the lake, computer games (especially Farmville), bowling, and reading, especially Steven King and Dean Koontz novels. Most of all, Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren, and her beloved cat, April Linda.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at 10AM, at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main Street, Oxford, MA 01540. Burial will follow at St. George Cemetery, Paige Hill Road, Southbridge, MA 01550 . Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA is handling arrangements.
