Leigh K Tasse

Sturbridge..Leigh K Tasse, 54, died Friday October 6, 2017, surrounded by her loving family, following a battle with cancer.  Her adoring family includes her cherished daughter Shawna Lataille and husband Mark, her mother Marita Tasse, two brothers Jeff Tasse and wife Molly, Kyle Tasse and wife Laura, and three nieces, Jenna Beaton and husband Kris, Brooke Tasse, and Sarah Conley and fiancé Ryan, and a special relative Medora Mower.   She is predeceased by her father George P Tasse and brother Mark Tasse.  Leigh also leaves behind her dear friend Todd Przybycien.  She will also be greatly missed by her two little dogs Myrtle and Maxwell.
Leigh was born in Oneida, NY on September 13, 1963.  Leigh was the Vice President of Tasse Fuel Corporation for 29 years.  She was the voice and smiling face of Tasse’s all those years, sincerely caring about all of her customers, many of whom became good friends. 
Leigh was giving, loving and caring.  She always thought of others above herself. We remember Leigh for her sharp memory and feisty independence.  Leigh enjoyed many activities, including loving her dogs, riding her Harley, baking, gardening, soaking up the sun at the ocean and spending quality time with family and friends.  Leigh’s life motto has always been LOVE LOVE LOVE!  Her daughter Shawna, the light of Leigh’s life, will always treasure the strong and beautiful bond she had with her Mom.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life for Leigh on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 4-7pm at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy St, Southbridge, MA 01550.  To remember Leigh and her bright spirit, please wear something orange in honor of her favorite color.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make donations in Leigh’s memory to Second Chance Animal Shelter, 111 Young Rd. East Brookfield, MA 01515 or LIVESTRONG – Tri Community YMCA, 44 Everett St. Southbridge, MA 01550.
