Cape Cod...Laurent E. Boutin, 78, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, after an illness. He leaves his wife of 49 years, Carol Pariseau Boutin. They were married October 18, 1969 in Southbridge.
He is survived by two brothers Gilles (Colette) Quebec and Jacques (Gisele) Quebec, four sisters Lucille Boutin of Quebec, Cecile (Late Emile) of Quebec, Simone (Norman) of Holyoke
and Aline (Paul) of New Brunswick. He was predeceased by three sisters, Gisele, Rolande and Louise and three brothers Benoit, Raymond and Jean-Guy.
He was born in Canada, son of the late Philip and Imelda (St. Pierre) Boutin and lived in Boston and on the Cape for most of his life. He was a Union Capenter for Local #30, for over 40 years, working as a finished carpenter.
He enjoyed living on the Cape, gardening, and traveling.
The funeral will be Thursday, July 19, 2018, from Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550, with a Mass at 11AM in Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home from 9:30-10:30AM prior to the mass. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery, Federal Hill Road, Oxford, MA
