Southbridge....L.Richard Tremblay, 83, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.
He is survived by his four brothers Alfred Tremblay and his wife Gloria of Woodstock, CT, Leon Tremblay of Southbridge, Paul Tremblay and his wife Brenda of Sturbridge, David Tremblay and his wife Ann of Southbridge, and four sisters Lorraine Tremblay of Southbridge, Constance Fontaine of Sturbridge, Aline Vosberg and her husband Russell of Sturbridge, and Diane Tremblay of Southbridge. He leaves many nieces and nephews, including a special nephew he helped raise as a son Alan Lacasse of Pomfret. and many grandnephews and grandnieces. He was predeceased by four brothers twin brothers Roland and Roger Tremblay,  Robert Tremblay, and Raymond Tremblay, and a sister Jeanne Lacasse.
He was born in Southbridge, son of Joseph and Marie Rose (Rondeau) Tremblay, lived most of his life in Southbridge. He was a retired US Air Force T/Sgt, serving 23 years in the military. After his retirement from the Air Force, he worked for 25 years at Dexter Russell Cutler in Southbridge. 
He was a member of St John Paul II Parish, and formerly of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
Richard enjoyed working, and maintaining his home, especially his yard.
Calling hours will be Sunday, November 26, 2017, from 3-5PM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. 
The funeral Mass will be Monday, November 27, at 10AM at St. Mary's Church, 263 Hamilton Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. George Cemetery, Paige Hill Road, Southbridge, MA 01550
