Southbridge...Jeannine A. (Blanchet) Lambert, 82, died Monday, March 11, 2019, at UMass Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness.
She is survived by her children Carol Lincoln and her husband Glenn of Southbridge, Joanne Lambert of Southbridge, with whom she lived, Richard Lambert and his wife Judy of Southbridge, Diane Lambert of Dudley, Linda Collins of Cumberland RI, and a very close friend of the family Debbie Vear of Webster, 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Eric, Kelly, Rebecca, Nicole, Brady, Colby, and Riley, and 2 great-grandchildren Anthony and Paul. She was predeceased by her sister Doris Laroche who died in 2011.
She was born in Southbridge, July 26th 1936, daughter of Luc and Bernadette (Thibeault) Blanchet and lived here all her life. She graduated from the former Notre Dame High School, Class of 1954, and was a member of Notre Dame Church (St. John Paul II Parish). Jeannine was an avid sports enthusiast who retired from coaching after 45 years of which she coached girls basketball for both Mary E. Wells and Bay Bath Regional High school. She also coached both high-school softball and field hockey for several years. Jeannine enjoyed reading, flea marketing, and bingo, but most of all loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Thursday, March 14th, 2019, from 4-6PM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. Burial will be private.
