Jeannette A. (Aucoin) Brodeur

Southbridge...Jeannette A. (Aucoin) Brodeur, 86, a former longtime resident of Southbridge, died Friday, March 9, 2018, at The Overlook Masonic Home, in Charlton,
She is survived by her husband of nearly 67 years, Robert E Brodeur. They were married May 19, 1951. She is survived by her children Gerald R. Brodeur of Southbridge, Elaine M. Brodeur of Southbridge, Susan A. and her husband Peter Bergeron of Nashua, NH, Gail J. and her husband Michael St Laurent of Southbridge, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a sister Virginia Hunt of Peru, Maine. She was predeceased by a son Ronald R Brodeur of Knoxville, TN who died Nov 19, 2011,  a sister Marie Mitchell,  and a brother Raymond Wedge..
She was born in Spencer, daughter of Ludovic and Eva (Huard) Aucoin and lived here most of her life.  She was a member of Notre Dame Church, and its Ladies of St. Anne Sodality. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, painting, and cooking. She had a great personality and sense of humor. Many years ago, she was an inspector at the American Optical Co., and a clerk at the former McClellan's Store in Southbridge.
The funeral will be Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, with a Mass at 10AM in Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. Burial will follow at New Notre Dame Cemetery, N. Woodstock Road, Southbridge, MA 01550. A calling hour will be held from 8:30-9:30am prior to the Mass.
