Deerfield Beach, FL/Southbridge...Dennis G. Roy, 65, died Friday, August 3, 2018, after a brief illness.

He leaves his wife Shirley A. (Lollis) Roy. He leaves his sons Jacob Roy and his wife Stephanie of Princeton, MA, and 2 daughters Rebecca A. (Roy) and her husband Scott Gregory of Sturbridge, Jennifer A. (Roy) and her husband Greg Desto of Charlton. He also leaves a stepson Ricky Abbott and his wife Anne Marie of Worcester, and step-daughter Carrie Goulet and her husband Ajit of Maryland, a brother Lonnie Smick of Southbridge, and 7 grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his sister Carmen Blair.

Dennis was born in Southbridge, son of the late Gaston Roy and Jacqueline (Proulx) Roy Smick. He lived most of his life in Southbridge before moving to Florida about 7 years ago.
While living in Southbridge, he was an active member of The Order of Redman, and the DeTriana Council of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially their surprise visits to Florida.
