David A. Racicot

Southbridge...David A. Racicot, 74, died June 12, 2017, at Southbridge Rehab & Healthcare Center after an illness. His wife of 46 years was the late Diane (Lavallee) Racicot who died March 1, 2011. He is survived by his son James Racicot of Dudley, and 2 daughters Priscilla Racicot and Tammy Bellerive both of Southbridge, and a grandson Justin Carrington of Southbridge. He also is survived by a brother Raymond Racicot, and 6 sisters Juliette Wright of Brookfield, Dolores Thornhill of McAllen, TX, Theresa loranger, Patricia Hnath, Bonita McDaniels and Rita Eldridge of Michigan, nieces and nephews.

David was born in Springfield, son of the late Joseph C. and Dora M. (Cournoyer) Racicot and has lived in Southbridge for most of his life. 

He was a proud veteran of the US Navy,  serving aboard the USS Shenandoah. He was a retired textile worker for Amabell Textile Co. of Rockville, CT. where he worked for many years.

Following cremation, burial with Military Honors will be private. There are no calling hours. Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge 01550, is directing arrangements.
