Daniel D. Gallant

Charlton...Daniel D. Gallant, 31, died November 1, 2017, after a drug overdose.. He is survived by his children Gabriel Gallant of Webster, and Madeline Tucker of Weymouth, his parents Kathy Gallant of Charlton, David R. Gallant of Ashford, CT, a brother Michael Gallant of Charlton, and his former wife Evlen Santos of Webster, and grandmother Helen May of Brooklyn CT. He was predeceased by a brother Kevin Gallant of Charlton, maternal grandfather Oliver May, and paternal grandparents Emile and Esther Gallant.
Daniel was born in Southbridge, January 26, 1986, and graduated from Shepherd Hill Regional High School in Dudley. He lived most of his life in the Charlton area, and worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, rock climbing, hiking, music, playing his guitar, sports, and drawing.  
Calling hours at Sansoucy Funeral Home 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550,  will be Monday, November 6th, from 5-7PM, with a Funeral Home Prayer Service at 6:45PM with Rev Paula Toland, officiating.  Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Gallant Children's Fund, c/o Savers Bank, 35 Trolley Crossing Road, Charlton, MA 01507.
