Christopher Chaphe

Cookeville, TN/Sturbridge.....Christopher J Chaphe, 48, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017. He leaves behind his adored children Brayden and Ella Chaphe, their mother Monique Marie Chaphe, his father Howard  Chaphe, step-mother Karen Chaphe, and three brothers Howard Douglas Chaphe, Robert Scott Chaphe, Evan Chaphe and a sister Leah Camille Chaphe. He is predeceased by his mother Barbara Hughes Tasse. He also leaves behind extended family including two step-brothers Jeff Tasse and wife Molly, Kyle Tasse and wife Laura, and six nieces Jenna Beaton, Brooke Tasse, Shawna Lataille, Sarah Conley, Tess Brummer, and Taylor Brummer. He is predeceased by his step-father George P Tasse, step-brother Mark Tasse and step-sister Leigh Tasse. 

Chris was born in Wilmington, Delaware on September 25, 1969. He was raised in Sturbridge, MA and resided in the surrounding area until 2002. He was a 1988 graduate of the former Marianhill Central Catholic High School. He worked in customer service at the Southbridge Credit Union briefly before starting his 20 year career in sales at Worcester Controls, Marlborough, MA and eventually transferring to its parent organization Flowserve in Cookeville, TN.

Chris was easy going and friendly to all, loving and giving to anyone in need. We remember Chris for his kind heart and his gentle soul. Chris enjoyed golfing, cooking, watching football and spending quality time with his friends and family.

Please join us for a Celebration of Life for Chris on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 5-7pm at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA, 01550. Burial services will be private.
