Benjamin Chanthanouvong

Southbridge - Benjamin Chanthanouvong, 37, died Saturday, August 12, 2017,  at his home surrounded by his family, after a long illness. 

He leaves his wife, Somsangouan Phianesin, and their children, Bentley and Ariel Chanthanouvong, of Southbridge.  He is also survived by his parents, Kham and KC Chanthanouvong of Southbridge; his brother, Sang Chanthanouvong, of Southbridge; and many extended family members and friends. 

Ben was born in Laos on March 25, 1980, and lived mostly lifelong in Southbridge.  He worked for the Savers Bank as a security officer/facilities manager, and was also an auxiliary police officer for the Town of Southbridge.  Ben was an avid golfer, and also enjoyed soccer. 

Calling hours for Ben will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017, from 5-9pm at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA.  The funeral service will be Friday, August 18, 2017, from 10am-1pm at the funeral home.  Cremation will follow at All Faith Crematory, 9 Island Road, Worcester, MA.
