Southbridge....Alberto Altiery, Jr, a longtime resident of Southbridge, died in Advent Health E. Orlando Hospital on September 4, 2019. He leaves his wife of 35 years, Ada Feliciano Altiery whom he married on July 7, 1984. He also is
survived by his son Joel A. Altiery of New Britain, CT, his daughter Jeanelle M. Altiery and her husband Joe Andujar of Oxford, his mother Petronila "Mimi" Arvelo granddaughter Juliana Andujar, and two step-grandchildren Joe Andujar, Jr and Jamiel Andujar. He also leaves 3 sisters Rosa Altiery of Wethersfield, CT and her partner Luis Ramos, Wanda Altiery of Andover, CT, Edna Perez of Andover, CT and 1 nephew Adriel Wilson, 2 nieces
Montalvo, and Monica Rams and her husband Moises, and a grandniece Morielle Rams..
He was born in San Sebastian, PR, son of the late Alberto Altiery, Sr, and Petronila "Mimi" Arvelo, and has lived in Southbridge for 48 years. He was a longtime member of St. John Paul II Parish, and attended Notre Dame Church. He worked for many years at Henke Sas Wolfe of America as a medical technician.
He enjoyed music, playing the Güiro, and spending time with his family and friends.
The funeral will be Tuesday, September 10, 2019, from Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge with a Mass at 10AM at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge. Calling hours will be Monday, September 9, from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
