Biography
Southbridge - Theresa A. (Courchesne) Bonin, formerly of Therese Avenue, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Radius Healthcare Center of Southbridge, at the age of 83.Mrs. Bonin was born in St. Hyacinthe, Canada on June 23, 1927, daughter of the late Ephrem and Josephine (Fortier) Courchesne. Her husband, Raoul R. Bonin, died October 31, 1987. She is survived by her sister, Madeleine (Courchesne) Robinson of Southbridge, many Godchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Jean Paul Courchesne and Bernard Courchesne, both of Canada, and one sister, Gabrielle Lajeunesse of Southbridge.
Mrs. Bonin was a member of Notre Dame Church. She was a homemaker. Theresa enjoyed Bingo, going to the casino, and being a very active person.
Her funeral will be Thursday, July 22, 2010 from Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 10 AM in Notre Dame Church, 446 Main St., Southbridge. A calling hour will be Thursday, July 22, 2010, from 8:30 - 9:30 AM. Burial will be in New Notre Dame Cemetery, Southbridge, MA. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donation be made to Notre Dame of the Sacred Heart, 61 Marcy St., Southbridge, MA 01550.
